9 to 5: The musical
Continuing: Dolly Parton snared a Tony nomination for her score of this show, based on the 1980 film. The country singer's star power, however, didn't translate into big Broadway business, and the musical has found much friendlier receptions out in the provinces. Trent Boyum directs Minnetonka Theatre's summer production. Stacey Lindell, left, John Trones, Kendall Anne Thompson and Jen Burleigh-Bentz play the leads in the story about three office workers who scheme to overthrow their male-dominated company. (7:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Ends Aug. 3, Arts Center on 7, 18285 Hwy. 7, Minnetonka, $14-$20, 952-401-5898 or minnetonkatheatre.com)
