Yes, that’s what I wrote. Those who’ve downloaded www.tombarnardpodcast.com already know what an entertaining and colorful time it was.

The Twin Cities radio legend asked me to come on his podcast. I went, sans security.

Barnard told a funny story about being invited to dinner at Sid Hartman’s lake place.

While there, Sid asked Barnard to answer the phone if it rang. It rang three times. Ted Williams called, George Steinbrenner called and Bobby Knight called.

Wow, Barnard thought, they really are Sid’s close personal friends.

Barnard is the subject of my Sunday Q&A. He brought it as always — and showed his softer side as well.
