Two big concert announcements were made by Minnesota bands on Tuesday. Atmosphere will hit different corners of the state on its third annual Welcome to Minnesota Tour, this one featuring well-known labelmate Brother Ali along with Carnage, the Get Cryphy DJs and young rapper Haphduzn. The trek will kick off March 1 at the Sanford Center in Bemidji and includes stops in Duluth (March 2 at Clyde Iron Works), St. Cloud (March 3 at Red Carpet Lounge), Mankato (March 4 at Verizon Wireless Ballroom) and Minneapolis (March 5 at First Avenue). Tickets for all shows will go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday via Rhymesayers.com or Fifth Element record store in Minneapolis.

Duluth-reared acoustic heroes Trampled by Turtles also announced a short run across the state to mark their 10th anniversary as a band, starting with an April 4 gig at the DECC in their hometown and culminating in a three-night stand April 17 to 19 at First Avenue. Each night of the First Ave run will feature four or more bands performing in both the main room and the neighboring 7th Street Entry. The $25 tickets go on sale at noon Friday via eTix.com.

Lindsay Lohan court saga continues An attorney for Lindsay Lohan entered a not guilty plea to three misdemeanor counts of lying to Santa Monica police in connection with a June traffic accident on the Pacific Coast Highway. Shawn Holley entered the plea on behalf of the actress, who was not required to appear in court because it was a misdemeanor case. A judge set a court hearing for Feb 10. Lohan was charged after Santa Monica police said they found evidence she lied when she said she was not behind the wheel of a Porsche that collided with a dump truck.

NO ROLE MODEL: Instead of chasing fame, Megan Fox is running from it. The "Transformers" actress told Esquire magazine she wanted to be like Marilyn Monroe and even has a tattoo of the late actress on her arm but has now begun the process of having it removed. The 26-year-old said she read about Monroe's "difficult life" where she had "all the potential in the world" that was wasted. Monroe, she said, "wasn't reliable" and "almost wasn't insurable." She goes on to compare Lindsay Lohan to Monroe. Fox said she's "not interested in following in those footsteps."

IN TROUBLE AGAIN: In the latest in a string of legal scrapes, actor Edward Furlong was charged with misdemeanor battery, prosecutors said. Furlong, 35, best known for his performances in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and "American History X," was booked on suspicion of domestic battery and felony domestic violence at a residence in West Hollywood.
