NEW YEAR'S WITH KIDS

Toddlers and tweens need not put a damper on your New Year's festivities. The Twin Cities area has several offerings for families to bring in 2013 with fun and flair.

Get some exercise and throw a few snowballs at Lebanon Hills Regional Parks' celebration. Enjoy candle-lit ice skating, hiking, snowshoeing and the park's sled hill. (5-8 p.m. Mon. $8-$10.
