Two celebrity gabbers who have claimed their stakes to the polar opposite ends of the political spectrum -- Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart -- exchanged words on Saturday night. During their 90-minute appearance, the Fox News anchor and the star of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" bantered aggressively but good-naturedly over birth control, President George W. Bush and the so-called "War on Christmas."

The political feud between the two TV personalities dates back more than 10 years. The two have appeared on each other's programs since 2001, but the face-off on Saturday at George Washington University marked their first head-to-head debate.

The two quickly turned to talk of government spending and the 47 percent of Americans that Republican Mitt Romney referred to in a video as dependent on government. Stewart, defending government involvement in health care and social programs, said the United States has always been an entitlement nation.

"We are a people that went to another country, saw other people on it and said, 'Yea, we want that,'" Stewart said. Asked who he'd like to see as president, O'Reilly dead-panned: "I'd have to say Clint Eastwood."

Handwritten letter by Einstein - bid now A letter in which Albert Einstein dismissed the idea of God as a product of human weakness is being sold on eBay for a starting price of $3 million. The letter, handwritten in 1954, a year before Einstein's death, was addressed to philosopher Eric Gutkind. In it, Einstein discussed his views on religion, including calling "the Bible a collection of honorable but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish." An anonymous collector who bought the letter in 2008 is putting it on sale on online auction site eBay on Monday. The auction closes Oct. 18.

CHEESEHEADS: As cheeses go, a 28-year-old cheddar is ancient. And only tasting will tell, after all those years, how it's fared. Veteran Wisconsin cheesemaker Ed Zahn sliced into a vintage block -- one of the oldest known cheddars ever made available for commercial sale -- at the Wisconsin Cheese Mart in Milwaukee on Saturday. "It's good," the 73-year-old Zahn pronounced to the friends and fellow cheese lovers crowded around the butcher block table.
