It's officially summer when Gordon Ramsay takes over the Fox network. The mean Ramsay is back in "Hell's Kitchen" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), as is the kinder and gentler Ramsay in "Masterchef" (8 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), which includes the first blind cook to enter the competition.
A late '80s icon returns to Earth, causing house cats across the world to duck under the couches. Yep, "ALF" (7:30 p.m., Hub) is back in rerun rotation, just as rumors are piling up that the furry wisecracker may be making a full-length movie. The old episodes will run Mondays through Thursdays.

It's the Season 5 premiere of "The Real Housewives of New York City" (8 p.m., Bravo) and to celebrate, the catty cast is holding a party, which can only mean that more than a few egos are going to get bruised and battered. There's so much drama in this opener that it's been stretched to 90 minutes.
