Sunday

"Nurse Jackie" (8 p.m., Showtime) and "The Big C" (8:30 p.m., Showtime), TV's best one-two combination, return with one trying to deal with rehab and the other coping with her husband's massive heart attack. Stars Edie Falco and Laura Linney are so talented they could switch places for a couple of weeks and their shows wouldn't miss a beat.

Monday

I guess being a cad can't keep you off TV. "Jesse James: Outlaw Garage" (9 p.m., Discovery) revisits the former Mr. Sandra Bullock as he joins car customizers at Austin Speed Shop. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the outfit includes the word "Speed," right?

Tuesday

Last time we left "Glee" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), Finn and Rachel were hurtling toward marriage, just as a car was hurtling toward Quinn. This new episode should answer some significant questions, as should "Glee: Don't Stop Believing" (9 p.m., Bio), a special that looks at the origins of the show.

Wednesday

Peter O'Toole may not be cranking out movies anymore, but he's still a masterful storyteller. "Peter O'Toole: Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival" (7 p.m., TCM) has the 79-year-old actor reflecting on some of his biggest roles. That's followed by a screening of his 1968 film, "The Lion in Winter" (8 p.m.). After an encore of the interview special, it's time for the epic "Lawrence of Arabia" (11:30 p.m.)

Thursday

"Sex in the Stone Age" (9 p.m., National Geographic Channel) takes a look at a previously unknown species believed to have once lived in Siberia. Either that, or it's an in-depth look at Larry King's first marriage. Yeah, that's right. I made a joke about Larry King's age. Sue me.
