CAROUSEL PARK: Minnesota Pride Contest: Fairgoers can share their community pride with participants and winners of the annual Minnesota Community Pride Contest at the awards showcase. Additional activities include music by Charlie Maguire and other Minnesota musicians, a Minnesota community trivia contest, issues forum and entrants' displays. The contest recognizes the goodwill and good actions that communities, neighborhoods and organizations are doing to help one another statewide. Partners are Minnesota Rural Partners Inc., MinnPost.com and the Minnesota State Fair. 10 a.m.
