Player to watch: Seth Tuttle is Northern Iowa's best player and one of 10 finalists for the Naismith Award. The Sheffield, Iowa, native averages 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Sometimes it seems as if he doesn't miss. Against Wichita State, the 6-8 senior forward scored 29 points on 9-for-13 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds. UNI has enough talent around him to make a run.

Best matchup: LSU made the tournament for the first time since 2009 and drew N.C. State, a bubble team before winning at Louisville and North Carolina in February.

Upset watch: Louisville, with point guard Chris Jones dismissed, must travel all the way to Seattle to face a UC-Irvine squad that features 7-6 center Mamadou Ndiaye.
