From my colleague, Lora Pabst:

A Richfield woman said she wanted to check the security of her family's bank accounts after her wallet was stolen last year. She had closed her account after the theft but was worried about her husband's account. When he asked her to deposit a check and get $80 in cash, she decided to see how well her husband's account was protected.

"I went to the teller and gave them my husband's bank card and a check made out to my husband," the woman wrote to Whistleblower. "She asked me to sign the back of his check (which I did, signing my name). She then handed me $80 and a deposit slip with [my husband's] account number on it."

The customer confronted the manager, who told her mistakes happen. Do you think she's being too hard on the bank?
