Springtime means the annual Farm Babies exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo, so cue the oohs and ahhs and the moos and the baas. (And the peeps!) At top, little humans watched Dawn Walker feed a Jersey calf born last Friday night. Eight more calves are due between now and August. Mitchell Hendrickson held a pair of twin Shetland sheep born last Thursday. The exhibit runs through the end of April. Also appearing, bottom left: One of the 13 piglets in a litter born to a Yorkshire-Duroc crossbreed sow. Date of birth: March 16. (The zoo is in Apple Valley, but go ahead and imagine Wilbur and Charlotte and Zuckerman's farm and magical webs. Because, of course, that's some pig.)
