In her speech Thursday morning, Rep. Michele Bachmann told the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference that all 11,000 attendees were invited for a free drink at her reception tonight.

At least several hundred took her up on the offer.

The line to get into Bachmann's reception Thursday stretched down a crowded hotel hallway. Those attending received a free drink, t-shirt and photo op with Bachmann.

The crowd was mostly young – no doubt enticed by the drink ticket.

After conference-goers got their picture taken with the Minnesota Republican, they received a pinstripe t-shirt that said "Bachmann" on the front and had the number “12” on the back with Bachmann's number above it, like a baseball jersey.

Bachmann autographed shirts for those who put them on with her name and the number 12.

Attendees also provided their contact info to Bachmann's staff before they got the picture and swag.
