Thursday and Saturday-next Sunday: Two weeks ago, virtuoso Gil Shaham was navigating Berg and Mozart with the Minnesota Orchestra in Europe. Twin Cities audiences now have a chance to enjoy his work in person, with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Shaham, a performer of exquisite passion and sensitivity, will perform Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor. He will also play Haydn's Violin Concerto No. 2. SPCO Concertmaster Steven Copes also will lead the orchestra in Beethoven's Symphony No. 2. This shapes up to be a memorable concert. (7:30 Thu. and 8 p.m. Sat. Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, 5th and Washington Sts., St. Paul; 2 p.m. next Sun. Benson Great Hall, 3900 Bethel Dr., Arden Hills. $10-$40. 651-291-1144 or www.thespco.org.)
