New Wolves President of Basketball Operations Flip Saunders remade the roster this summer, spending nearly $120 million in guaranteed contracts to do so.

F Andrei Kirilenko: Opted out of $10.2 million contract for this season and signed for $3.1 million with Brooklyn after turning down multiyear offer from Wolves worth more than twice that annually.

F Mickael Gelabale: Contract expired in July, not re-signed.

G Malcolm Lee: Traded to Phoenix via Golden State to clear nearly $1 million for summer spending spree.

G Luke Ridnour: Traded to Milwaukee in July deal that brought Kevin Martin from Oklahoma City in a sign-and-trade arrangement.

G Brandon Roy: Released in May from final, non-guaranteed season of a two-year, $10 million contract.

C Greg Stiemsma: Released in July before $2.5 million salary was guaranteed for this season. Signed soon after by New Orleans.

C Nikola Pekovic: Restricted free agent re-signed last week to five-year, $60M contract.

G Kevin Martin: Legitimately sized shooting guard (6-7) signed to four-year deal worth nearly $28 million.

F Chase Budinger: Rick Adelman favorite returned to Wolves with three-year, $15M deal.

F Corey Brewer: Brought back to team that drafted him with three-year, $14M deal.

C Ronny Turiaf: Veteran big-man signed to two-year, $3.2 deal because of his interior defense and leadership.

F/G Shabazz Muhammad: Polarizing scorer selected 14th overall after Wolves swung draft-night deal with Utah to trade ninth pick for two first-round picks.

C Gorgui Dieng: Big man drafted 21st overall for his shot-blocking and defense.
