With Stow 'n Go seating and storage systems, the industry's only fold-into-the-floor second and third row seats, safety and security features such as a minivan-first inflatable knee blocker, and power adjustable pedals and Door Alert, the 2007 Town & Country minivan offered classy styling with innovative features and flexibility. Indeed, the vehicle's versatility in seating configurations and its overall ride comfort were two notable attributes. Ultimately, the Town & Country was a strong reminder of the fact that Chrysler invented the modern-era minivan. Innovations were plentiful.

Available in standard (SWB) and long wheelbase (LWB) body styles, power for the Chrysler minivan was generated by a choice of a pair of six-cylinder engines: 3.3L and a 3.8L. Torque was transferred through a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The body structure was engineered for high bending and torsional stiffness, which helps isolate suspension vibration and chatter from the passenger compartment. The front suspension was equipped with iso struts with integral gas-charged shock absorbers, coil springs, asymmetrical lower control arms, link-type stabilizer bar, urethane jounce bumpers and rubber-isolated cast aluminum cross member.

The rear suspension setup included rubber-isolated longitudinal single-leaf springs, tubular beam axle, track bar and gas-charged shock absorbers. The optional Trailer Towing package was equipped with revised rate springs and load-leveling shock absorbers. Towing capacity was 3,800 pounds.

Inside the cabin, the instrument cluster boasted modern graphics with the message center located in the cluster. UConnect hands-free communication with Bluetooth wireless technology and factory-installed SIRIUS satellite radio are available options.

The Chrysler minivan also offered an overhead rail system with three movable/removable storage bins. Long wheelbase models featured rear HVAC controls.
