Another busy week ahead for car shows in the Twin Cities

Many outstate cities have car shows this weekend (see www.autoswalk.com for details). The seven-day metro car show calendar is below. NOTE: Spectators are admitted FREE at events listed unless noted.

Tonight

Apple Valley Freedom Days Dancin' & Cruisin', Bogart's (6 pm-midnight, 952-431-8245, 952-432-0386). 8:30 pm-midnight dance with live band $10 per person.

North St. Paul History Cruze, downtown (6-10 pm, 612-801-8107, 651-356-1341).

Prior Lake Roll-In, downtown (5-9 pm, 952-440-2088).

City Centre Mall, St. Francis (5 pm-dusk; 763-753-6116, www.stfranciscarshow.com).

Saturday daytime

Classics at Canterbury Park, Shakopee (registration noon-2 pm, 952-278-3102, sgraf@nemerfieger.com). Display your street rod, antique or custom for free admission, food vouchers, trifecta ticket package; no reservation necessary.

Minnesota Summer Drive-In, Wagner's Drive-In, Brooklyn Park (9 am – 3 pm; rejarboe1@mmm.com, 612-396-6209, www.fiero.mn.org). This is a Pontiac Fiero-only show.

The Bridge is Still Open Car Show, Corvette Specialties, Blaine (school supply donations for Alexandra House welcome; 9 am – 2pm; 763-784-8577, www.corvettespecialties.com).

Top 30 Car Show, Oak City, Brooklyn Center (11 am – 3 pm, 612-529-4630, 763-561-7794).

Kaposia Days Car Show, South St. Paul High School (10 am – 4 pm, 651-452-8988).

Saturday evening

Anoka Classic Car Show, downtown (5-dark, 763-421-7130).

Fatboys Bar & Grille, East Bethel (6-10 pm; 763-434-8181).

A&W Drive-in, Little Canada (6-9 pm; 651-484-5133, 651-231-1433).

Hideaway Speedway, Isanti ($4, $1 kids, $10 full car; 5-10 pm; 612-978-7034, information@backalleycruisersmn.org). 1/4-scale radio-controlled stock car races.

Sunday

42nd Annual All-Porsche Show & Concours d'Elegance, Central Park East, Roseville (10 am – 2 pm, bdmayer@comcast.net, nordstern.org). Fees from cars entering the Upper Midwest's largest Porsche show benefit the Courage Center; part of city's RoseFest.

Monday
