It's put on a few pounds (331 to be exact) and grown 1.8 inches wider and 1.3 inches longer since its 1989 debut, but Mazda's MX-5 Miata is the best-selling roadster ever because it's stayed true to its guiding principle: jinba ittai, or, "rider and horse as one."

Stunning: 2008 Mercedes Benz C63AMG

Because of past experiences with previous generations of this model, I viewed the new C63 AMG with a bit of skepticism. Here was an even larger displacement V-8 in the new C-Class sedan than previous versions, a combination that was sure to be fast but not necessarily quick on its feet But I had a great opportunity to test the newest AMG creation on the Autobahn and over some of Germany's great twisting roads.
