The Star Tribune cut 15 jobs in its newsroom Wednesday, a week after accepting buyouts from 11 staff members.
The layoffs, which did not include reporters, were focused on copy editors but also included administrative staff and technicians.
The cuts are part of a 9 percent reduction in force at the 142-year-old newspaper, which has struggled with declining revenue and high debt. The Star Tribune successfully emerged from bankruptcy in September after restructuring its debt.
The Star Tribune has cut 95 positions across the company since last fall, at a cost savings of $6.8 million, said spokesman Ben Taylor.
