Northrop Grumman gets $3.3 million Air Force deal for services on A-10 Thunderbolt

HERNDON, Va. - Northrop Grumman Corp. received a $3.3 million contract from the Air Force to provide support services for the A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, the company said Wednesday.

Northrop's Technical Services will develop a system safety program and provide program and engineering management support.

The Northrop-led team includes subcontractors BAE Systems Control Inc. based in Johnson City, N.Y., and Borsight Aerospace based in Farmington, Utah.

Shares of Northrop Grumman added 81 cents to $54.77 in late afternoon trading.

Lights out at U energy conference. Irony police notified.
