Paragon Shipping sets dividend of 5 cents per share per quarter, payable Dec. 14

NEW YORK - Greek drybulk carrier Paragon Shipping Inc. said Tuesday the company would pay a quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share, unchanged from the second quarter.

The dividend will be paid Dec. 14 to shareholders of record on Dec. 1, the company said.

The shares rose 7 cents to close regular trading at $4.46.

Just as Lawrence Kazmerski, a top official at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, was about to give the keynote address at the University of Minnesota's annual E3 conference at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, the lights went out, bathing the audience in darkness and a deep sense of irony.
