Apogee Enterprises Inc., Edina, closed on its previously announced acquisition of EFCO Corp., a subsidiary of privately held Pella Corp. of Pella, Iowa. EFCO makes architectural aluminum window, curtain wall, storefront and entrance systems for commercial construction projects.
Apogee expects EFCO to add $200 to $220 million in additional revenue and be accretive to its earnings. It will be the ninth independent operating unit of Apogee and be part of its architectural framing systems segment.
