On the move

Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, named Thomas Rooney vice president for finance and treasurer effective July 1. Rooney held leadership positions at St. Catherine University, including chief financial officer. He worked for G&K Services, Bluestem Brands, Polaris Industries and Wells Fargo.

Premier Bank, Maplewood, named John Post president of the north suburban area. Post was president and chief executive of Community Pride Bank.

HJ Sims named Jay Hromatka executive vice president. Hromatka worked for Piper Jaffray and serves on the board for Charter Schools Development Corp.

The Opus Group, Minnetonka, named Kim Noonan vice president, marketing and brand at Opus Holding. Noonan joined Opus in 2015 and worked for Polaris Industries and Jostens.

Gray Plant Mooty, Minneapolis, named Julia Dayton Klein principal in the litigation group. Klein was general counsel for the Minnesota Department of Commerce and worked for Robins Kaplan.

Mirum named Pete Leacock vice president, director of strategic growth. Leacock was group account director at Carmichael Lynch and worked for Fallon, Martin Williams and Mithun.

Big-D Construction named Dan Pennington senior superintendent, Terry Hoyez lead superintendent and Barbara Rounds project manager.

Honors

The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants gave Kevin Cashman the Gardner W. Heidrick Lifetime Achievement Award. Cashman is a senior partner at Korn Ferry.

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy named Patrick Gleason a fellow. Gleason is a pharmacist at Prime Therapeutics and an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota.

Keith Johanneson was inducted into the IDEA Hall of Fame. Johanneson is president and chief executive of Johanneson Cos.
