Minneapolis-based Target is voluntarily recalling a $1 toy that it sold this year and is being called an "impalement hazard to young children."

Dive sticks were sold exclusively at Target stores from April to August of this year. In all, there are about 365,000 of the toys that go by the name "Dive Toys" or "Diving Game."

While no injuries have been reported yet, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning citizens to "take the recalled dive sticks from young children immediately and return them to any Target store for a full refund."

The commission says the sticks can "remain in an upright position, posing an impalement hazard to young children."

The CPSC banned preweighted dive sticks in 2001.

The recalled sticks, made in China, were sold in packages of three in several colors: light blue, aqua green, fluorescent yellow, royal blue, and red.
