Analysts from Sadif Investment Analytics say C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., the logistics company based in Eden Prairie, might appeal to value investors.

"It captures Warren Buffett's definition of a good investment as: a good business, run by honest and competent management and bought at a fair price," the analysts wrote in a Sept. 15 report.

Overall, the authors gave the company a hold rating. According to Bloomberg, six Wall Street analysts rate C.H. Robinson a buy; 18 a hold, and five a sell.

Study confirms Cardiovascular Systems rating

Edward White, an analyst at Laidlaw & Co., published an upbeat report on Cardiovascular Systems (CSII) after reviewing the results of a clinical trial that were presented at the annual Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics conference in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 13.

"We believe the data further support CSII's success in the hard-to-treat calcified lesion segment of PAD," White wrote. PAD, or peripheral arterial disease, is caused by plaque buildup in arteries that carry blood from your heart and generally occurs in the legs.

He's maintaining his "buy" rating on Cardiovascular Systems based on that study and an earlier trial this year of Cardiovascular's Coronary Orbital Atherectomy System for treatment of lesions in coronary artery disease (CAD). White added that "we believe that CSII remains a solid value proposition based on its PAD product growth and the launch of the CAD product."

According to Bloomberg, nine of the 10 analysts who cover Cardiovascular Systems have "buy" ratings on the company.
