Bank of America named Larry Kloth Minnesota state president and Minneapolis-St. Paul market president. Kloth was the Twin Cities complex director for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and joined the firm in 1981 as a financial adviser. Bank of America Merrill Lynch also named Anthony George business banking client manager.

Western Bank, St. Paul, named John Gill executive vice president, chief financial officer/chief operating officer. Gill joined the bank in 2010 and is a senior faculty member at DeVry University. He is a certified public accountant and instructs a national certified public accountant review course. Western Bank also named Nicki O'Connell assistant vice president, human resources manager. O'Connell joined Western Bank in 2000 as a human resources/marketing associate.

HealthPartners, Bloomington, named Peggy Neale vice president of national health solutions for the organization's health plan. Neale joined HealthPartners in 2002 and serves on the board for Homeward Bound.

KSTP and 45TV, St. Paul, named Joe Johnston director of public affairs. Johnston joined 45TV in 2003 and has worked for the Minnesota Twins, Castle Rock Entertainment and New Line Cinema.

Stylmark, Fridley, named Shane Vail vice president of sales and marketing. Vail co-founded Smart Candle and was director of sales for Rasmussen Import Company.

The Family Partnership, Minneapolis, named Jerry Uribe chief operating officer. Uribe was program operations and special projects officer at Northwest Area Foundation in St. Paul and was chief operating officer for CLUES.

Barnes & Thornburg, Minneapolis, named Connie Lahn partner in the Minneapolis office. Lahn was a shareholder at Fafinski Mark & Johnson and served as chairwoman of the firm's bankruptcy and insolvency group. She is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and received a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

Felhaber Larson, Minneapolis, named Meggen Lindsay and Susan Kramer attorneys for the firm. Lindsay was an editor and reporter for the Pioneer Press and class valedictorian at William Mitchell College of Law. Kramer practices in the areas of labor and employment law and has experience representing airlines under the Railway Labor Act.
