CBRE Minneapolis was recently awarded the listing contract for the Suburban World theater in Uptown.

Last month, an entity associated with Florida-based Elion Partners bought the 87-year-old landmark (formerly known as the Granada Theater) at 3022 Hennepin Av. S. for $750,000.

CBRE said the site can accommodate a single retail tenant with space requirements ranging from 2,500 square feet to 6,229 square feet. Elion has received city approval to position the site for retail while maintaining its historic integrity.

Elion is the same firm that owns the State Farm complex in Woodbury.

"Elion is committed to the Twin Cities,"said Shlomo Khoudari, managing principal at Elion Partners.".
We are all about location, so we are beyond enthusiastic about entering the urban market of Uptown. It doesn't get any better than this"

The CBRE team of Matt Friday and David Daly will seek out single-tenant retail and restaurant end users to occupy the available space.

"We are truly excited to continue our partnership with Elion Partners in to Uptown. The historical nature of the building and its high profile location make this a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Matt, myself, and CBRE to market", Daly said.
