Otter Tail Power Co. CEO Chuck MacFarlane has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Otter Tail Corp., the utility's parent company. He was replaced as CEO by Timothy Rogelstad, who was vice president of the ­energy delivery, system operations, and capital budgeting areas at the utility. The executive changes were announced at the company's annual meeting Monday in Fergus Falls, Minn., where the company is based.

Verify Corp., a Minneapolis-based software technology company, has named Michael Howe chief executive, effective immediately. Howe, most recently chairman at Smart Receipt and DRX, has served in executive leadership ­positions with Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Unilever, Arby's and MinuteClinic. As CEO of MinuteClinic, Howe facilitated the national expansion of the business from 19 clinics in two markets to more than 525 clinics in 27 states.
