For the past few years, the executives and entrepreneurs to watch in Minnesota have shared one common challenge: getting through the downturn that began in 2008.
With the crisis over for both Minnesota and the U.S., the challenges and opportunities are diverging for the business leaders we're keeping an eye on in 2014.And because so much is happening, we found ourselves struggling to narrow our list to only 10 Minnesotans to watch. So this year, we simply added two more without changing the Eye on 10 name (sort of like the Big Ten Conference when it grew to 12 teams).
Not everyone has that kind of flexibility to settle a workplace argument. But we think you and other readers will agree that, when it comes to the stories of these Minnesota business leaders, more is, well, more interesting.
