Valspar puts 'green' in every can of new paint

Last update: June 29, 2008 - 9:46 PM

"Green" paint comes in many shades. Valspar's latest innovation in paint is green. The company's new Flurospar SR coatings are the industry's first enhanced solar reflective paints for the aluminum extrusion and wall panel market. The coatings can help reduce the amount of energy used to cool buildings by reducing the surface temperatures of aluminum windows, curtain walls, shutters, awnings and other building components. The Flurospar finishes are available in a variety of colors to help buildings go greener.
