1/14 JanRain Inc. Multiple investors JanRain, a provider of user management products for the social Portland, Ore. Web, has received $33 million in funding from investors that include Eden Prairie-based Split Rock Partners.
 
1/14 Minnesota Thermal Pelican Products Inc. Pelican Products has acquired Minnesota Thermal Science, Science LLC Torrance, Calif. a provider of thermal production packaging products. Plymouth.
 
1/14 Two Buildings at Park 2000 Liberty Property Trust Liberty Property Trust has acquired two building at the Park 2000 Shakopee Malvern, Pa. complex in Shakopee.
 
1/16 Watertower Apartments KBS Legacy Partners KBS Legacy Partners has acquired the Watertower Apartments, Eden Prairie Apartment REIT Inc. a 228-unit complex, for $38.4 million. Newport Beach, Calif.
 
1/16 Ness Electronics Inc. Shopjimmy.com LLC Shopjimmy.com, a distributor of TV parts, has acquired an St. Paul Burnsville electronics components distributor. 1/17 Two animal feed mills Cargill Inc. Cargill will acquire two animal feed mills from Lancaster, Pa.- Mount Joy & Martinsburg, Pa. Minnetonka based Pennfield Corp. for $9.8 million in a bankruptcy proceeding.
