Medica, Minnetonka, appointed John Naylor senior vice president, commercial markets. Previously he was vice president and general manager of commercial sales. Prior to that, Naylor was the market leader for Tower Watson (formerly Towers Perrin) Minneapolis office for 21 years.
Countrywide Tire & Rubber, Plymouth, said Anne Housh was appointed vice president of sales. Her primary responsibilities will be to focus on individual customer needs, development as well as increasing customer revenue. Housh has 18 years of sales experience at Countrywide Tire & Rubber with a variety of customers.
Barnes & Thornburg, Minneapolis, hired Joe Thompson as partner in the corporate department. Previously, Thompson worked for Stoel Rives, where he was partner and chairman of the Agriculture and Food Initiative. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and chairs the agricultural and rural law section.
Preston Kelly, Minneapolis, hired Tom Schooley as vice president, digital director. Schooley was most recently at Honeywell, where he had the overall digital responsibility for the e-commerce channel for one of Honeywell's largest business groups. Before that, Schooley has worked for Best Buy, Andersen Windows, Periscope and as co-owner of a digital consultancy, Pilcrow Partners.
Kohnstamm Communications, St. Paul, hired Greg Zimprich as senior vice president of agency operations and strategic insight. Zimprich will aid in brand-building for consumer products and professional services companies, as well as lead the team in new social media strategies. He brings more than 25 years of experience, including 19 years with General Mills Inc. Zimprich helped launch more than 100 new products and created a number of nationally recognized marketing capabilities.
American Feed Industry Association named David Larson the recipient of its Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented for his lifelong contributions to the feed industry. Larson retired from Cargill Inc. in 2010 after a four-decade career including serving on the board of directors.
