Mergers and acquisitions involving Minnesota companies that were announced in the past week.

10/12 Mixed-use complex Shorenstein Properties Shorenstein Properties will acquire the 33 South Sixth/City Minneapolis San Francisco Center complex in downtown Minneapolis from Brookfield Properties for $207 million.
 
10/15 Lifetech Scientific Corp. Medtronic Inc. Medtronic will acquire a 19 percent stake in Lifetech, a Shenzhen, China Fridley cardiovascular devices maker, and will receive the right to distribute LifeTech programs as well as the opportunity to acquire additional ownership.
 
10/16 T-Chek Systems Inc. Electronic Funds Source Electronic Funds Source acquired C.H. Robinson Worldwide's Eden Prairie Ogden, Utah payment services business for $302.5 million.
 
10/16 Iowa Traction Railroad Co. Progressive Rail Inc. Progressive Rail acquired an Iowa-based railroad and electric Mason City, Iowa Lakeville locomotive owner and operator.
 
10/17 Ecolab Vehicle Care Zep Inc. Zep Inc. will acquire the vehicle care division of St. Paul-based Atlanta Ecolab Inc. for about $120 million.
 
10/17 Essentia Insurance Co. Markel Corp. Markel Corp. will acquire Essentia Insurance Co. from Chesterfield, Mo. Glen Allen, Va. Minnetonka-based OneBeacon Insurance Group.
 
10/17 MyStudentBody Hazelden Foundation Hazelden has acquired MyStudentBody, an online alcohol and Center City, Minn. drug education program for college students, from Inflexxion Inc. 1
 
0/18 Cebix Inc. Multiple investors Cebix, a developer of treatments for complications of diabetes, La Jolla, Calif. has closed on a $30.9 million financing round with investors that include Thomas McNerney & Partners, Minneapolis.
 
10/18 Intacct Corp. Multiple investors Intacct, a cloud financial management and accounting software San Jose, Calif. provider, has received $13.5 million in additional funding from from investors that include Split Rock Partners, Eden Prairie.
 
10/18 Tomen Grain facility CHS Inc. CHS has acquired the Tomen Grain facility from a subsidiary of Pekin, Ill. Inver Grove Heights Toyota Tsusho America Inc.
 
10/18 All State Communications Inc. Arvig Enterprises Inc. Arvig acquired a communications products and services Sauk Rapids, Minn. Perham, Minn. provider.
