The Toro Co., Bloomington, declared a quarterly dividend of 11 cents per share, payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record Oct. 1.

U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, has declared a quarterly dividend of 19.5 cents per share, payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record Sept. 28.

Healthsense Inc., Mendota Heights, a provider of remote monitoring solutions for the senior care market, announced it has raised an additional $7 million in a round of financing led by new investors Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and Fallon Community Health Plan.

PERSONNEL

ApeniMED, Minneapolis, appointed Duane Kullberg to its board of directors. Kullberg was formerly CEO and managing partner of Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1980 to 1989 and serves on a number of other boards. ApeniMED is a health IT company.
