Eden Prairie-based Stratasys Inc. posted a 31 percent jump in second quarter revenues to $49.4 million.
System shipments rose to 776 units during the quarter, up from 735 units for the same period a year ago thanks in part to strong sales of its higher-end Fortus systems and to a bump in system installations.
Net income fell 25 percent to $3 million or 14 cents a share.
Excluding one-time costs, adjusted net income was $7.0 million, or $0.32 per share, which was in line with analysts' estimates.
Officials raised their forecasts for the year based on the strength of their Fortus systems sales.
