Best Buy founder Richard Schulze is in the process of recruiting several former executives to help lead the electronics retailer should Schulze successfully take the Richfield-based company private, according to reports issued by Bloomberg Monday.

Citing unnamed sources familiar with the situation, Bloomberg said Schulze has approached former CEO Brad Anderson and other former officials at the struggling retail giant.

Schulze resigned as chairman of the board in June after it became public that he allegedly failed to inform the rest of the board that he was aware that former CEO Brian Dunn was allegedly having an affair with a female employee.
