On the move

Mohagen/Hansen, Wayzata, a full service planning, architecture and interior design firm, hired Nancy Binger, Nathan Potratz, Jim Hurst and Ben Frick. Potratz spent four years working in Oregon at an architecture firm specializing in health care design. Hurst will be a job captain. Frick was hired as an intern architect. Binger will be involved in all aspects of interior design.

The Lacek Group, a Minneapolis-based loyalty marketing agency, hired Wes Beyrent as vice president, digital strategy. Before joining the Lacek Group, Beyrent was vice president, director of creative technology & user experience at Publicis in Dallas.  

Broadhead, a Minneapolis advertising and marketing agency, hired Greg Wetzel as chief creative officer. Wetzel had been group creative director at Colle+McVoy, and during a 22-year career has worked on such brands as Caterpillar, Land O' Lakes, Purina, Pfizer, Bayer, 3M, General Mills and Cargill.

Interplx, Minneapolis, an independent provider of expense management and purchase card transaction processing software, hired Amber Eustice to lead channel recruitment and management process of its recently launched partner program for travel. Eustice has directed sales for Carlson and a number of its Country Inn & Suites properties.

DLA Piper, Minneapolis, hired Venora Hung as an associate from Cargill Inc. where she was involved with business development, global strategy, capital investment recommendations, new market entry and M&A. She has recently worked on matters in China, Venezuela, Peru and Taiwan in the animal feed industry.

Awards

Tricia Charnell, the marketing services coordinator at Minneapolis law firm Barnes & Thornburg, has been named a 2012 "Unsung Legal Hero" by Minnesota Lawyer. Charnell and 19 other honorees selected for the award will be profiled in Minnesota Lawyer and honored at a luncheon event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Sept. 12.

Several agents at Edina-based Coldwell Banker Burnet have been named to the 2012 Wall Street Journal/REAL Trends the Thousand Report recognizing the nation's top 1,000 residential real estate agents based on annual 2011 sales volume and transaction sides. Team ranked by closed sales volume. They include George Stickney, Wayzata office; Terri Danielson, Buffalo office; Barry Berg group, Minneapolis Lakes office; Daniel and Julie Desrochers, Lakeville/Burnsville office (two awards); and John Schuster team, Minneapolis Lakes office.
