FICO buys Denver data firm

Fair Isaac Corp. said Tuesday it has acquired Denver-based Entiera Inc., a customer data company, for an undisclosed price.

Minneapolis-based Fair Isaac is a credit scoring and data analysis firm that goes by its trade name FICO. Entiera's core product is "Entiera Insight," a software platform that enables marketers to conduct large-scale campaigns across multiple media channels, including social media.

"When we look at the future of marketing, we see a need for marketers to more easily execute campaigns across channels and conduct dialogs with customers," Fair Isaac Chief Executive Will Lansing said in a news release.
