Education: Master's in business from Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India; Ph.D. in international management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; named 2007 Fellow of the Academy of International Business.
Career: Internal auditor for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in Bombay, taught at the university level in Nigeria; consulting editor for the Journal of International Business; Founding member of the International Academy of the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India; joined the Carlson School of Management in 1991, became associate dean of faculty and research and held the Elmer L. Anderson Chair in Global Corporate Social Responsibility.
