On the move

Ecumen, Minneapolis, named Shelley Kendrick vice president of housing. Recently she was Minnesota Veterans Home leader in Minneapolis.

Fredrikson & Byron, Minneapolis, named Kristin Blenkush associate. She will join its real estate group. Previously, Blenkush worked for another local law firm.

Steiner Development Inc. named Matt Lucas vice president of development. Earlier, he was development & leasing manager for CSM Corp.

Frauenshuh Commercial Real Estate Group, Minneapolis, has named Shannon Reilly senior vice president. Prior to joining Frauenshuh, Reilly was co-partner of Keewaydin Real Estate Advisors.

Modern Climate named Lorenz Esguerra executive vice president of business development. Before joining Modern Climate, he was the managing director of the Blast Radius San Francisco and Proximity Minneapolis offices, leading integrated teams working on key clients such as Hormel Foods, Electronic Arts, Palm, HP, Guthy-Renker, Warner Bros., Aviva Insurance and Aerovironment.

Moving up

Communications Systems Inc., Minnetonka, promoted Patrick Schaber to vice president of global marketing. Previously, Patrick was with Transition Networks, a CSI subsidiary, as director of marketing and product management.

Directors

The Prouty Project, Minneapolis, has elected Grayce Belvedere-Young to board chair of Cultural Jambalaya, Edina. This award-winning nonprofit uses international photography to promote understanding and respect for all cultures.

Awards

The land use and development lawyer David Sellergren at Minneapolis-based Fredrikson & Byron has been inducted into Midwest Real Estate News Magazine's 2011 Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. All 50 inducted this year were featured in the December issue of Midwest Real Estate News Magazine.

The Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Chicago, gave this year's Inspiring Efficiency Innovation Award to the Energy Innovation Corridor, a clean energy and transportation showcase along an 11-mile stretch through Minneapolis and St. Paul that offers a wide range of energy efficiency, renewable energy, clean transportation and smart tech tools and programs to local businesses and residents.
