Feb. 10, 2010: Hecker and former executive indicted for defrauding auto lenders.

Oct. 18, 2010: Hecker jailed for secretly cashing life insurance policies, not repaying public defense costs.

Feb. 11, 2011: Sentenced to 10 years for conspiracy, bankruptcy fraud.

Feb. 22, 2011: Hecker weds Christi Rowan by phone.

Feb. 24, 2011: Rowan, 38, arrested for cashing Hecker's dividend checks, illegally withdrawing from his account.

March 2011: Rowan sentenced to 14 months in jail.

Oct. 18, 2011: Hecker's first anniversary in prison.
