Entertainment: Minnesota Twins, independent film producer River Road Entertainment, Northern Lights Broadcasting, which includes Top 40 radio station 96.3 NOW and classic country station KGLB-AM.

Retail: JB Hudson Jewelers in downtown Minneapolis, Twin Cities Automotive with five dealerships in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud.

Business services: Marquette Real Estate Group, which includes NorthMarq with 600 employees offering commercial real estate services, general contractor RJM Construction with 100 employees and $120 million in annual revenue and giant real estate developer United Properties; Marquette Technology Cos., which includes health care consultant Arcadia, multimedia provider Avtex, customer relationships manager Inetium.

Financial services: Marquette Financial Cos., which includes Meridian banks in Arizona and Texas, business credit, commercial finance and capital funding.
