Protective gun cases to be sold to consumers
Shield Technologies Corp. of Eagan is launching a new, high-tech protective gun cases for hunting and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Envelop protective covers were developed in 2005 for the military market. They protect against water, humidity, sand and other contaminants. They'll be adapted for a consumer line made with leather, brass rivets and ballistic nylon. The covers repel moisture from the outside and expel moisture from the inside, helping create a corrosion-free environment for storing and transporting firearms. The line will include cases for shotguns, rifles and handguns.
Hormel puts recipes on a new website
Hormel, which has hundreds of food products, now has a new recipe website, HormelFoodsRecipes.com, to show them off. The site, and a new corporate site, HormelFoods.com, will boost Hormel's online presence. Hormel Foods changed its web address from Hormel.com to HormelFoods.com to distinguish between its corporate presence at HormelFoods.com and its new brand site, Hormel.com, which will be launched soon.
HormelFoodsRecipes.com will feature a simplified recipe search as well as viral video vignettes. The recipe site is integrated with the corporate site to drive product sales and cross-category awareness.
