Age: 42

Title: Co-founder and managing partner of NumberWorks, a staffing firm that provides staff level accounting contractors on a project basis .

Previous job: Director of Salo, which provides senior level accounting consultants on a project basis.

What do you do? I direct and help build the brand of NumberWorks, recruit and cultivate quality talent who can be placed in staff level financial projects, cultivate our client base, and coach and develop our internal team.

Education: Bachelor's degree in international business, University of St. Thomas

Family: Husband, Mike; and our blended family of kids, Erica, Ellie, Maisy, Georgia and Henry

How did you choose this line of work? I fell into this industry right out of college with a small firm and got hooked on the energy and variety. After working with a large national firm for the bulk of my career, I joined two previous competitors who launched Salo in 2002. NumberWorks stemmed from the demand we were getting for it at Salo: Hiring managers told us they were unable to regularly find strong resources through existing accounting temporary firms. The ongoing demand from current clients of Salo asking for help at the tactical levels was the genesis of NumberWorks.

Other than you current position, what would be your dream job? I would love to do a reality show on job interviewing.

Why do you love your job? The energy in the contract staffing industry is addictive. It's very fast-paced and always changing as the businesses we work with grow and evolve.

Hobbies: My free time is spent with my kids helping with homework and going to activities and school functions. When I have time for myself, I love yoga, biking and reconnecting with friends.

What are others surprised to learn about you? I'm vegetarian; I eat almost 100 percent organic.

What would you rather do than go to work Monday morning? Be a stay-at-home mom.

Claim to fame: Professionally, I have been with Salo from the beginning and have been part of an award-winning, nationally recognized business. Personally, I was a single mother of two and am now in a blended family with five kids. Navigating those changes and growth has been a huge learning experience.
