Inscape Publishing, St. Louis Park, a training development company, has been acquired by Sentinel Capital Partners, New York, from the Riverside Co., another New York private equity firm.

NEW BUSINESS

ATS Medical Inc., Plymouth, said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted the company approval to begin marketing additional sizes of its line of ATS Open Pivot mechanical heart valves.

Kinetic Data, St. Paul, a provider of third-party business service management tools for the BMC Remedy platform, has been awarded a contract to provide software products and consulting services to the federal government.

DEBT AND EQUITIES

Multiband Corp., New Hope, said the Nasdaq Stock Market has notified the company that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq listing requirements regarding the minimum closing price of the company's common stock.
