Ethanol from corn

The efficiency of ethanol plants in the U.S. has increased over the last 20 years to produce up to 2.8 gallons of fuel for every bushel of corn processed. The production of ethanol also produces equal portions of carbon dioxide and high-protein animal feed ingredients.
