We look forward to hearing what Robert Reich has to say about the dismal state of employment nationwide and how to turn it around.

Stay tuned for an update on this blog later this afternoon. Until then, here's a quick bio:

Robert Reich is currently the Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley.

He has served in three national administrations, most recently as Secretary of Labor under former President Bill Clinton.

Reich is the author of 13 books, including "The Work of Nations," "Locked in the Cabinet," "Supercapitalism," and his most recent book, "Aftershock."

Reich is also a frequent commentator on American Public Media's "Marketplace."
