Jerry Zgoda missed the entire Kevin Garnett era, but he's back covering the Timberwolves after working the beat for their first four seasons two decades ago. In between, he covered a bit of everything: Gopher men's and women's basketball and NCAA athletics, golf, outdoor recreation, sports media and a little Vikings and Twins.

Kevin Love and Darko Milicic both participated in today's 60-minute practice at U.S. Airways Center.

Love hasn't played since he sprained his left foot in Wednesday's loss to Denver.

He didn't think much of the injury until he woke up the next morning and could barely walk.

That's why he said after practice today that he believes he'll be ready to play tomorrow, but...you never know until you wake up the next morning and see if the foot swells again.

Milicic also practiced after missing Sunday's 114-100 loss at Sacramento because he grew too ill just before game time to play.

Kurt Rambis said he expects both players to be ready tomorrow night agains the Suns, unless either one suffers a relapse tomorrow morning.
