Nintendo has announced that a bigger version of the popular DS, the Nintendo DSi XL, will be released March 28 for

$190. The DSi XL (right) has screens that are nearly twice as large as its predecessor (left) and that offer wider viewing angles. The unit will come in burgundy and bronze colors. Preinstalled software will include Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math, Photo Clock, the Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio. The stylus will also be larger and easier to hold, more like a regular pen. Add it all up, and it's pretty easy to see whom the DSi XL is aimed at: That's right -- older gamers. It's the video-game equivalent of a large-print book! It also speaks to how popular the DS is with all ages, as well as who would be willing to pay nearly $200 for a larger portable system. Would you pay that much?

Nintendo also announced release dates for its major Wii games, including Super Mario Galaxy on May 23 and Metroid: Other M on June 27.
