House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher and the Minnesota DFL might find out Tuesday what damage they did last year when her donors gave money to the DFL and she got credit for it in her payments for access to a database of voters.
The Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board will consider a Republican Party complaint against Kelliher tomorrow, according to a letter it sent to the GOP last year.
The consideration will occur during an closed-door executive session.
Kelliher and the DFL stopped the campaign finance arrangement late last year, reversed some of the donations and told the board of it. Kelliher's campaign manager said it was a possible violation of state campaign finance law.
