Greetings.
The Gophers got two more members of their most current recruiting class, both are from Lackawanna C.C. in Scranton, Pa., according to GopherIllustrated.com They are:
--Safety Herschel Thornton, a 6-2, 205-pound, hard-hitter. He had offers from Pittsburgh, Rutgers and South Florida. He's 22 years old; he worked for two years after graduating high school in 2006 before finally going to school;
--Tight end Tiree Eure, a 6-7, 242-pounder who also had offers from Purdue, Syracuse and Colorado.
This comes on the heels of wide receiver James Green, who came on board yesterday.
The Gophers class is now at 24.
